Knit 301: Knit-to-Felt Fair Isle Tote

Date(s): December 1, 8, 15, and 22 from 6-8
Join knitting whiz Maureen Ballagh for this one-of-a-kind knit-to-felt class! Learn to knit an original Fair Isle colourwork purse and then learn how to felt your knits for maximum sturdiness! This is an advanced level class - students will be expected to know all basic knit stitches and be comfortable working in the round, making increases/decreases, and know how to knit stripes. Supplies are not included, however students will receive a 15% discount on supplies purchased in the shop! Nuno Art Felting: Funky Collar

Join local fibre artist Maggie Glossop and learn the art of nuno felting with some fun and funky results! This is a merging of wool and silk and we'll teach you the basics of wet felting! Students will incorporate some sculptural elements into their finished collar - a cross between a necklace and a scarf. Materials are supplied and no experience is necessary.
