Weaving 301: Project Planning
Date(s) - 9 Dec 2017 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
“How much yarn will I need?” A daunting question for any new weaver, to be sure! Let our weaving instructor David eliminate confusion and get you warping with confidence in this new workshop from Wabi Sabi!
Open to both rigid heddle and table loom weavers, this class will walk you through the process of project planning, from calculating warp and weft yardage to reading basic pattern drafts! David will be tailoring the workshop to the weaving experience of the class, and students are encouraged to bring project and pattern ideas, as well as to let the shop know if there are any particular hurdles they’d like David to address!
Students are expected to have some weaving experience, and to have woven a few projects independently. This class is perfect for the student who is ready to tackle larger or more intricate projects, but isn’t sure where to start!
