DIY Sock Yarn With Eloise
Description: The best dressed feet are wearing multi-coloured sock yarn, and now you can dye-it-yourself. This course will teach you how to use the colours found in locally available dye materials and natural extracts to create your own skein of self striping sock yarn.

Fairy Dolls
Description: Do you believe in fairies? Come and create a tiny fairy for yourself or a child. Use wire, beads, felt, embroidery floss and roving to make your very own fairy friend. This is a beginner level project. All materials provided.

Free-form Crochet Course – Intermediate to Advanced
Description: If you love funky texture or have lots of small balls of yarn in different colours, weights,
fibres and textures that you hate to throw or give away, this course is for you. You will
learn how to make highly textured crocheted motifs that you will join together to make
crocheted fabric. These crocheted fabrics can be used for the covers of cushions, tea-
cosies or bags, or made into shawls, jackets, vests or even cloaks. Small pieces can be
used to embellish clothing (e.g., collars, cuffs). Specifically, you will learn:
§ How to select colour ranges for your work
§ How to make free-form crocheted motifs that you will use to construct your
crocheted fabric
§ Various techniques for connecting these pieces together
§ Different stitches essential for free-form crochet motifs
§ How to further embellish your crocheted fabric

Bring your own yarn from your stash. Bring hooks to match size of yarn.

Introduction to Natural Dyes
Description: Discover the world of natural colour; from fibre preparation, and colour extraction to dyeing. We will use plant extracts and native plant material to create a colour palette. Waldorf Doll
Description: Create a beautiful doll in the Waldorf tradition. Learn how to shape the face, sew boddy and do the hair. All materials included, no sewing experience necessary. This class is three sessions.

Description: Hand made sweaters call for unique beautiful buttons. Dorset buttons were first created in the UK, as part of a thriving cottage industry. You will learn to create your own, with embroidery floss and wool. These attractive spiral design buttons are quick and satisfying to make. This is a beginner level project.
