At long last - it’s a toe-up sock class! Toe up socks are very fun to knit and come with a number of advantages. They can be tried on as they are knit, are easy to customize, and there is absolutely no need at all to fiddle about with grafting. Join instructor Lisa Reid in learning the heel-io-trope method; a new combination of techniques that result in a sock identical in fit to a traditional top-down heel flap sock. It has no stitches to pick up, no fussy techniques, and no seams to bother sensitive feet. It is designed to be easy to knit, easy to follow, and easy to customize. As an added bonus, students will learn how to knit in the round in magic loop AND have the choice to knit their socks one or two-at-a-time.
Intermediate knitting experience is required - students should be confident in casting on, binding off, knitting, and purling.
Supplies are not included, but all students will receive a 15% in-store discount on supplies for the course.
