This is an in-person class held at 1078 Wellington St. W., Ottawa.  Masking is required to attend for the safety of the instructor and other students.

This is the next step after learning how to knit and purl in our Introduction to Knitting class.  If you do not know how to knit and purl, please take that class first.

This class starts with a quick refresh of casting on, knitting and purling, after which you will learn how to increase and decrease while making a dish cloth.  This class will use the same 4.5mm needles used in our Introduction to Knitting class for the first project, so please bring a pair in that size with you.  Yarn for the dishcloth is included in the price of this class.

The second project that will be taught in this class is knitting in the round and identifying knit and purl stitches by sight.  You will learn how to join a cast on in the round, and make a cowl.  Yarn and needles for the second project will be sold separately from the class, in order to accommodate preferences in yarn and needle material.

This class runs on Sunday afternoon from 1pm - 3pm, July 10, 17, and 24.
