Introduction to Knitting: Part 3 (February)
2 AVAILABLE
This is part 3 of our introduction to knitting series. Please note that basic knitting skills (knitting purling, casting on and off) are NOT taught in this class. If you do not know how to do those stitches, please take our Introduction to Knitting class first.
Third in our collection of classes for beginners, the project for this class is a hat. Building on skills established in previous courses, this will teach knitting ribbing in the round, and the use of double-pointed needles for small-circumference knitting.
What You'll Learn
This class teaches working ribbing in the round, and how to use double pointed needles.
Required Skills
You should be comfortable with knitting, purling, casting on and working in the round before taking this class. If you are not yet familiar, please see our Introduction to Knitting Part 1 and 2 classes.

You will need 4.5mm x 40cm circular needles and a set of double pointed needles; 2 balls of Peer Gynt wool, and stitch markers. The pattern is provided in class
