This class runs on Saturday, Sept 30 from 12 noon to 2 pm.
Do you love everything pumpkin at this time of year! Are you intrigued by the look of hand knitted pumpkins, but aren't sure where to start? This class is for you! Our instructor Heather will show you how to knit cute pumpkins using a skein super bulky yarn in fall colours. You'll be knitting these up for yourself and as gifts for friends!
Before taking this class, you should already know how to: knit, purl, cast on, and decrease. These skills will not be taught in the class, so if you haven’t learned them yet, we recommend looking into one of our intro classes first.
What you will learn: How to knit a pumpkin! If you have not yet knit in the round, the teacher will show you how.
You will need: You will need a set of double pointed needles OR a 40”/100cm circular needle OR a set of 16”/40cm circular needles, in 9.00 mm circumference. You will be knitting in the round, so if you have a preferred technique, please choose appropriate needles. You will also need a darning needle, and a small (4-6”) stick to bring to make the stem of the pumpkin.
We provide: the pattern, scissors, glue, and enough yarn to make 2 pumpkins, stuffing for the pumpkin that you make in class.

Cancelled classes may be refunded to store credit if we receive notification 14 days in advance of the first class. If the cancellation is within two weeks of the start date of the first class, a refund to store credit will be issued only if we are able to fill the spot.
