next steps in knitting

This is a continuation to the Intro to Knitting  class. This is a project based class, focussing on knitting in the round.  You'll learn how to knit in the round on a cowl, and also get the opportunity to the knitting basics:  casting on, knitting, purling, and casting off.

What you'll learn:

How to cast on and join in the round, knitting and purling in the round, casting off in the round.

Required skills:

It is assumed for this class that you are comfortable with the basics of the knit stitch, purl stitch, casting on and casting off.  If you are not, we recommend taking the introduction to knitting class first.

What to bring:

Materials for this class are not included.  You will need about 150m of aran weight yarn (samples in the store are done with Mercado and Amelie), and 60cm circular needles in size 5.5mm / 9US.

This three-part class runs from 12pm - 2pm on Wednesdays, April 5, 12, and 19.
