What You'll Learn
This class is focussed on learning techniques for even, consistent stranded colourwork.
Required Skills
Before taking this class, you should be comfortable with casting on, casting off, and knitting and purling in the round. If you have never knit colourwork before or have and are looking to improve your skills, this class is for you!
What to Bring
- 50g each of three colours (dark/medium/light) in either of the suggested yarns (Rauma Finull, or Jamieson & Smith Jumper Weight)
- a 60cm circular needle in size 3.5mm (US 4)
- a ring stitch marker
- a copy of the pattern (which will be available for download after you complete registration and checkout)
- a notebook and pen or pencil
- This class has homework! Before the first class, please cast on and knit the ribbing and the first two (non-stranded) rows of the chart, so that you're ready to start on the stranded colourwork when class begins.
This three-part class takes place on Sundays from 1pm to 3pm on April 2, 16, and 23rd. Please note that there is no class on April 9 (Easter Sunday), even if our automated reminder system attempts to tell you otherwise!

Cancelled classes may be refunded to store credit if we receive notification 14 days in advance of the first class. If the cancellation is within two weeks of the start date of the first class, a refund to store credit will be issued only if we are able to fill the spot.
