Sometimes it's hard to match colours through a computer screen. In order to make it easier, we've paired sets of two of our shop favourite yarns, Kid Silk Mohair and Sunday.
The Sunday is a beautifully soft merino fingering, with excellent definition and stability. When paired with the kid silk, it will form the "core" of the yarn, and be the most dominant colour in the project.
Kid Silk Mohair is a wonderfully light combination of the ethereal halo of mohair with the distinctively luxurious glimmer of silk. Although incredibly fine on its own, when paired with a yarn like the Sunday, it adds an ethereal halo to hats, shawls or sweaters, along with considerable warmth in the winter.
Each pairing comes with one ball of each colour (enough to do a hat!), so it's easy to scale up or down for a project of your choice. When held together, these two yarns should knit as a heavier fingering or light sport.
