Aranami 荒波 (Japanese.)- (n) stormy seas, raging waves

Color and patterning of this shawl are like a winter ocean with foamy raging waves on the surface. Poor weather and dark skies reflecting in the ocean add to the colour and obscure grey lines of the horizon merging with the sky.
