Laine is a high-quality Nordic knit & lifestyle magazine for knit folks. We cherish natural fibres, slow living, local craftsmanship, and beautiful, simple things in life. Our intention is to inspire you to gather and share, to be part of a community of like-minded knitters, makers and thinkers from near and far. Knitting is more than just knit, knit, purl. It is a feeling.
Laine includes patterns from the leading knitwear designers, insightful, long-format stories from the world of wool, interviews, exciting travel articles, seasonal recipes and strong, visual storytelling.
Despite the snowy start here in Ottawa, we want to celebrate the nice weather that is (hopefully!) on the way soon. We hope you'll enjoy the sale on some of the established favourites, as well as the great new stock that has just arrived at the shop in time for spring knitting!
Wabi Sabi is thrilled to offer Zoom classes and events! Keep an eye on this space for upcoming online classes that you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home.
Wabi Sabi is a Japanese term for a world view focussed on recognizing and embracing the beauty and uniqueness of the unfinished, the imperfect and the impermanent. This aesthetic and philosophical term has no English synonym, and we use it with respect for its roots, and with the knowledge that we ourselves are unfinished, imperfect, and impermanent.
Dear Friends and Valued Customers,
First of all, Wabi Sabi wants to thank you for your amazing and continued support!
