Knitting for Olive Compatible Cashmere is an ultra soft and exclusive yarn in 100% Cashmere.
Compatible Cashmere can be knitted as a second strand, as an alternative to Soft Silk Mohair. The yarn can be knitted on its own on 3mm needles using double strand and used as an alternative to our Merino.
The Cashmere Wool originates from China and Mongolia and the yarn is produced in Italy. Our spinning mill follows ethical, technical and environmental standards, creating yarns free from harmful chemicals.
The yarn is STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified.
Please be aware that fibres from Cashmere are shorter than, for example, fibres from Merino, which means that the finished knit requires special care in relation to peeling. We recommend the use of a Cashmere Comb or carefully cutting the loose fibres off with a pair of scissors, to maintain your knit in perfect condition.

cashmere
Cashmere is a soft, warm, and luxurious fibre that comes from the undercoat of cashmere goats. It's used to make yarn, textiles, and clothing. Like many very soft fibres, it is often mixed with other materials to increase durability.
