intro to knitting, part 2

This beginner level class is aimed at knitters who have conquered knits and purls, and are ready to expand their skills.  There are two projects for this class, a washcloth and a ribbed cowl (unisex style - suitable for all).  We'll also review pattern reading.

- basic increasing and decreasing

- casting on and knitting in the round

- introductory information about knitting gauge

- knit and purl stitches

- casting on and casting off

- 4.5mm straight needles (those you used for Intro to Knit 1) for the washcloth; yarn for this project is included in the class fee.

A circular needle and yarn must be purchased for the cowl project.  Requirements will be discussed during the first class.
