  • sandnes garn

The largest producer of hand-knitting yarn in Northern Europe, Sandnes Garn's mill is both one of the oldest, and most up-to-date, spinning factories still running. Their focus is on taking good care of everyone involved in the production of their yarn, both animal and human, and they produce some of the most reliable yarns available on the market today.
  • cotton

Cotton is a plant fibre made from the cotton plant (surprise!). It is absorbent, soft, very easy to care for and a popular choice for garments and household items like washcloths and towels. As a plant fibre, however, it will not retain warmth very well, so is less ideal for warmer winter items.
  • linen

Linen is a fibre made from the flax plant. It's strong, absorbent, and dries quickly, making it a comfortable fabric to wear in warm weather. Linen tends to feel fairly rough in the skein, and softens a great deal with wear and washing. It has excellent drape and breathability.
