  • Sandnes Garn

Sandnes Garn today holds the position as the largest producer of hand knitting yarn in Northern Europe, one of the world’s most up-to date spinning mills – in one of the oldest factories still running. Our goal is for everyone taking part in the production of our yarn; animals and people, are taken care of in the best possible way.
  • cotton

Cotton is a plant fibre made from the cotton plant (surprise!). It is absorbent, soft, very easy to care for and a popular choice for garments and household items like washcloths and towels. As a plant fibre, however, it will not retain warmth very well, so is less ideal for warmer winter items.
  • linen

Linen is a fibre made from the flax plant. It's strong, absorbent, and dries quickly, making it a comfortable fabric to wear in warm weather. Linen tends to feel fairly rough in the skein, and softens a great deal with wear and washing. It has excellent drape and breathability.
