Don’t let the thought of cutting your knitting strike fear in your heart! Cutting openings in hand-knitted garments is a time-honoured traditional technique that contributes to their production in an efficient way. There are things to keep in mind and ways to prepare your garments prior to taking your dressmaking shears to your knitted fabric – all straightforward and achievable. This workshop will explore several different techniques for stabilizing knitted stitches so they can be cut without fear of unraveling.
