Around the Hive Notions Tin

There is something wonderfully comforting about the old-fashioned rhythm of a country garden—flowers left to bloom freely, bees humming through the afternoon, and the quiet satisfaction of gathering a little of summer's abundance before the seasons change. This beautiful notions tin features a vintage illustration that feels like a glimpse into that slower world. It has the warmth and character of an old garden book or a well-loved piece of textile art—the kind of image that makes you want to linger over the details. Handcrafted in our Steveston, British Columbia studio, each slider tin is finished with a crystal-clear layer of glossy resin that protects the printed artwork and gives it a beautiful, glass-like finish. The sturdy metal tin glides open smoothly and clicks closed securely, making it perfect for holding stitch markers, tapestry needles, tiny scissors, buttons, pins, or all the little treasures that inevitably collect alongside a favourite project. Available in two sizes, this little notions tin is perfect for knitters, makers, gardeners, beekeepers, and anyone who appreciates the warmth and beauty of vintage illustration.
