The Ashford Blending Board is the perfect tool for creating exciting rolags for spinning or batts for felting. It differs from other carding tools in that it allows you to ‘paint’ with fibre over a large, flat area of carding cloth to create controlled layers of fibre. The fibres are not stretched a great deal which gives greater definition of colour for maximum effect in your spinning or felting. The blending board is great for making self-striping yarns, or using up small amounts of fibre left over from other projects. Any fibre that takes your fancy can be added – wool sliver, uncarded wool staples, silk, alpaca, mohair, Tencel, or some Angelina for that extra special effect. The blending board is portable and light weight. Work with it on a table, on your lap, or pack it up and take it with you! The blending board is very easy to assemble and disassemble.

Alternately, we can make arrangements for the supplier to drop ship the item directly to your home. As soon as your item arrives at the shop, you will be notified for pickup or with a tracking number once we ship your order to you.
If you change your mind and would like your item refunded before the order is placed with the supplier, we can cancel it with no penalty, however, once we have placed the order and the item is shipped to us, we are not able to offer refunds on special ordered items.
