Basic Brioche: Saturday, February 21: 1pm - 3pm
Brioche knitting is a technique that creates a plush and lightweight ribbed fabric, perfect for cozy accessories and garments. Join our afternoon workshop where we’ll learn this unique stitch and create a sample square - a perfect launching point for your next steps in brioche.
What you'll learn
We will learn the brioche stitch knitted flat in one colour. We will also demonstrate how to work brioche in the round, and in two colours.
Required skills
You should be comfortable with casting on, knitting and purling to create 1x1 ribbing, and binding off.
What to bring
50g/100m of worsted weight yarn in a light colour
4mm straight or circular needles

cancellation policy
Cancelled classes may be refunded to store credit if we receive notification 14 days in advance of the first class. If the cancellation is within two weeks of the start date of the first class, a refund to store credit will be issued only if we are able to fill the spot.
Very last minute cancellations (within 48 hours) are not eligible for refund in any form, as it does not allow us fair time to attempt to fill the spot.
We do not offer partial or full refund, in the form of store credit or alternate dates, for missed classes unless they are cancelled by the shop due to weather or similar calamity.
This policy is to let us keep prices as low as possible while ensuring that our instructors are fairly compensated for the time spent prepping and teaching their classes.
