Ready to advance your knitting techniques? This 3-session workshop is perfect for knitters who have mastered the basics and are eager to learn more complex skills. In "Intro to Knitting Part 2", you'll get hands-on experience in a supportive small group setting as you explore "level 2" essential kitting techniques.

required skills:
- This class is ideal for advanced beginners who are comfortable with casting on, knitting, and purling.
- Experience using circular needles is helpful, but not required.
what the class teaches:
- longtail cast on
- knitting in the round using circular needles
- decrease stitches for shaping
- creating textured fabric with a combination of knits and purls.
what to bring
- 16" circular needles in sizes 4.5mm & 5mm
- EITHER 5mm dpns or a longer cable 5mm circular needle for magic loop (for the top of the hat)
- 100g worsted weight yarn in main colour
- 20g worsted weight yarn in contrast colour
- (optional) pompom
