The 1898 Hat is a double-thick headband with a crown added on – extra warm and perfect for our Canadian winters. This pattern has long been a favourite recommendation of Wabi Sabi staff – drop in and have a look at the store sample. The headband is knitted flat with shaping that gives it earflaps, and is then folded over for the double-thickness. Crown stitches are then picked up and worked in the round.
