Our collaborative yarn is made using three quality British fleeces; lustrous and luxurious Bluefaced Leicester, soft and durable Bluefaced Kerry Hill, and the rustic and charming Masham. The colour palette has been carefully curated, capturing the iconic hues of the Victorian era.

Wool is a textile fibre produced by the shearing of sheep. The breed of the sheep, where it was raised, and how the fibre was treated after shearing can all affect the final characteristics of wool. While some is quite harsh and rough, other wool can be luxuriously soft and squishy. As a fibre, wool is very good at trapping heat, and is one of the few fibres that stays warm even when wet.

His work dramatically changed the fashions and ideologies of the era and he remains as influential and important today as he was in his own time. He was a craftsman, designer, poet, printer, socialist, novelist and environmentalist. The William Morris Society was founded in 1955 to share knowledge of the life and works of William Morris amongst their members and the wider public.
