Next Level Granny Squares

You already know granny squares. This class is about what happens when you push past them.

In this three-hour workshop, you’ll work through a floral granny square that breaks from the traditional architecture: no simple clusters-and-chains here. Working in two colours, you’ll build a design with real visual complexity, learning to read and follow a more detailed chart along the way. Because half the battle with advanced crochet isn’t the stitches themselves, it’s decoding the instructions confidently enough to actually try.

By the end of the session, you’ll have a finished square and a clearer sense of how to approach patterns that would have felt intimidating before.  This is a class for people already familiar with basic granny square techniques (those won't be taught during this class).

required skills:

• familiarity with basic granny square techniques is an asset
• knowledge of magic ring, chain, single, half double, double crochet, and work in the round required to take this class.
