The Ashford Niddy Noddy is a very useful accessory for winding yarn from the spinning wheel bobbin into skeins! Made from turned Silver Beech hard wood, the specially shaped crossbars allow the skein (hank) of yarn to slide off easily when made. It is easy to dismantle for storage or transportation.
The Ashford Niddy Noddy comes in three sizes:
- Niddy Noddy (makes 1.5 m skeins that will fit most yarn swifts)
- Niddy Noddy Sampler (makes 0.9 m skeins, appropriate for small amounts of yarn)
- Niddy Noddy Jumbo (makes 2 m skeins, appropriate for jumbo or art yarns)
