Next Steps in Knitting: Cowl & Dishcloth

This beginner level class is aimed at knitters who have conquered knits and purls, and are ready to expand their skills.  There are two projects for this class, a washcloth and a ribbed cowl (unisex style - suitable for all).  We'll also review pattern reading.

required skills:

• must be comfortable knitting and purling
• must be comfortable casting on and casting off

what the class teaches:

• basic increasing and decreasing
• casting on and knitting in the round
• introductory information about knitting gauge

what to bring

• 4.5mm straight needles (those you used for Intro to Knit 1)
• 1 ball of Sudz dishcloth yarn
• Yarn and needle requirements for the cowl will be discussed during the first class.
